In practice, that means designing pragmatic architectures on OneLake/Lakehouse, orchestrating pipelines with Fabric Data Factory and Fabric Notebooks/Dataflows, shaping robust semantic models, and delivering fast, trustworthy insights with Direct Lake and Fabric Warehouse. He pairs this with engineering fundamentals - version control, testing, CI/CD, and cost/performance tuning - so solutions scale smoothly from prototype to production.
When he’s not refining a model or optimizing a pipeline, Austin is usually hunting for the perfect taco.
He is a certified Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer and also moonlights as CaseWhen's in-house Metabase Expert.
